Upcoming Events<br />Team Size: Team can range anywhere from 10-20 people with at least 40% of the team being made up of the opposite sex <br />Players must be paid members, no ringers<br />Each club can enter a maximum of 2 teams but feel free just to send 1 if that is all the interest that you have <br />Thursday, February 3rd, 2011 – 7am! <br />

Youth Summit on Sustainable Transportation<br />Every year or so, the Canadian Urban Transportation Association (CUTA) partners with local agencies to host a youth conference, encouraging young people to learn about transportation, sustainability, and planning.<br /> This year, TransLink, BC Transit, and CUTA will sponsor 45 or so youth to attend our conference in Vancouver from August 19-21, 2011. <br /><br />

What To Expect:<br />Attend sessions and workshops teaching you concepts behind urban planning, current transportation issues, and practical skills to put your knowledge to work. <br />Meet a range of dynamic young people also interested in transportation, sustainability, and urban planning. <br />Take tours and gain a broad understanding of Vancouver's public transportation system. <br />Learn about careers in urban transportation and how you can reach them. <br />Paid travel to Vancouver, accommodations, meals, and your conference experience!<br /><br />

The Challenge<br />Step 1 - SIFE BCIT is challenging everyone to think of something they've always dreamt of doing.<br />Step 2 - Set a goal of how much money you want to raise.<br />Step 3 - Start pledging! Spread the word! Get donations!<br />Step 4 - Throughout "Dream Week," February 7th to 13th 2011, all participants will live out their dreams, with all of the money going to the BC Children's Hospital<br />

Lions Lair Youth Series<br />"Guiding local high school students in their grade 10 and 11 year to achieve their upcoming career and post secondary goals"  Youth Series members will gain the opportunity to learn how to effectively mentor youth and create a support system, and build relationships.<br />

Venture Recognition Award<br />He has shown unwavering commitment to SIFE and Lions Lair over the past two years. <br />He has been a second PM for Lions Lair & always has great input in any meetings he attends. He is consistently finding ways to lend a helping hand wherever necessary. <br />Finally, he has been working with Kyle to improve communication on our website and provide strategic insight into future projects.<br />
