By setting goals you can decide what you want to accomplish and after that you can move gradually towards accomplishing these goals. Goal setting process will help you to decide where you want to reach in future. By setting smart, clearly defined goals, you can calculate and rejoice in the attainment of those objectives. When you set goals you can improve your confidence and also can realize your abilities. Goals are laid down on a number of different levels: At first you determine what you really wish to do with your life and what goals you want to accomplish. Second, you break these down into the smaller targets .Finally once you have your plan; you start working towards achieving it. Here are some helpful techniques for you. Setting your life time goals: The first step in setting personal goals is to consider what you want to achieve in your life, as setting life time goals gives you the overall perspective that shapes all other aspects of your decision making. To give a broad, balanced coverage of all important areas in your life, try to set goals in some or all of the following categories. 1. Artistic: Would you like to accomplish any artistic goals? If so what? 2. Attitude: Is any element of your approach holding you back? Is there any part of the way that you behave that upsets you? If so, set a goal to develop your conduct or get a solution to the problem. 3. Career: What level do you want to reach in your career? 4. Education: Is there any knowledge you need to gain especially? What kind of knowledge and abilities will you want to attain other goals? 5. Family: Would you like to become a good parent? If so, how do you become a good parent? Hoe do you want to be seen by a partner or by members of your extended family? 6 Financial: How much do you want to earn by what stage? 7 Physical: Are there any athletic goals you want to achieve, or do you want good health deep into old age? What steps are you going to take to achieve this? 8. Pleasure: How would you like to enjoy yourself? You must make sure that some of your life is for you 9. Public service: Do you wish to create the world a better place by your survival? If so, how? Once you have determined your objectives in these groups, allocate a main concern to them from A to Z. Then evaluate the objectives and re-priorities until you are pleased that they reproduce the figure of the life that you crave to direct. Moreover make sure that the objectives that you have laid down are the objectives that you wish to accomplish, not what your parents, partner, relatives, or managers want to them to be. How to begin to accomplish your goals: After you have laid down your goals, set a 25 years plan of smaller goals that you must complete if you are to arrive at your lifetime plan. Then set a 5 year plan, 1 year plan, 6 month plan and 1 month plan of progressively smaller goals that you must reach to attain your lifetime goals. Each of these should be based on the previous plan. Lastly lay down a daily to-do list of things that you must do today to work towards your goals. At an early period these objectives may be to read books and collect information on the accomplishment of your objectives. This will facilitate you to develop the value and practicality of your goal setting. In the closing stages evaluate your plans, and ensure that they fit the manner in which you feel like to live your life. After you have determined your primary set of plan, maintain the procedure going by analyzing and updating your
