Change is difficult,demands effort and concentration. Most often we congratulateourselves on having accomplished change. Change by itself is useless,unless it results in superior business practice. This brings us to the moststartling fact of all about solutions. 80% of all solutions get lost in theexecution. That’s because people tend to confuse the action of changewith the solution. This is as far from the truth as one can get. Thesolution is an entity that has to be managed and supported so that thechange it is causing doesn’t dilute its power.
