Audience feedback

  1. 1. Audience Feedback
  2. 2. I used freeonlinesurveys.com to make an online survey asking a mixture of open and multiple choice questions to get feed back. I had 10 people reply, from getting the link on twitter. I didn’t use to many questions as people would not finish the survey then, I just focussed on the basics.
  3. 3. Results
  4. 4. The question was open to get more descriptive feedback. The feedback ranged from average to great, with many people saying it was funny.
  5. 5. We were very happy all 10 people thought the video was appropriate for the song.
  6. 6. Question 3 showed that more people preferred the narrative to performance. This could either mean the narrative was e.g. more funny, or that the performance wasn’t any good. That is why we used other open ended questions. However it is nice to see 30% preferred the performance because it suggests both were good.
  7. 7. The results show nobody didn’t recognise any of the spoofing which is positive. 80% recognised Amarillo and Bohemian Rhapsody. Only 50% recognised OK Go.
  8. 8. We were very proud that everyone thought our narrative was clear and understandable.
  9. 9. Lip syncing was commented on twice, and once before on a previous question. During editing the syncing was good but it may have been changed when uploaded to youtube.
  10. 10. We also had verbal feedback from family and friends who have seen the music video. Comments often contained remarks on the lip syncing being a little out, but also the majority of the comments were positive. People told me they found it very funny, especially the frisbee part, and also enjoyed the Amarillo spoof. Other comments were how the Amarillo spoof was a bit shaky, but that was because the camera was rolling on a dolly on an uneven floor. Costumes were commented on regularly, especially my shirt in Amarillo.
