2. In a boost of confidence to the mining baron, Vaikundarajan
and his enterprise VV Minerals, the Indian Bureau of Mines
has released an investigation report in favor of the company.

3. The IBM has released a statement suggesting that no evidence
was found to prove illegal activity of mining atomic minerals
across Tirunelveli, Kanyakumari and Tuticorin districts in Tamil
Nadu.

4. The department of Geology and Mining worked with IBM to
release this report. The report further stated that the
allegations made by complainant was filed with a wrong
motive, envy and vindictive.

5. This comes as a huge relief to the founder of VV Minerals India
who has stood by the company ever since the allegations came
out. The report is currently available with Business Standard and
signed by assistant director of Mines & Geology, assistant director
of Mines and Geology, deputy director of Mines and Geology and

6. Following the allegations from V Sundaram, a retired civil
servant, the investigating team was formed. Sundaram had
accused VV Minerals of looting minerals worth Rs 96120
crores. In a letter sent to the state government, Sundaram
also accused government officials of illegally supporting the
company to flout the mining regulations.

7. As the report of VV Mineral’s acquittal comes out, V Sundaram
has refused to accept it and instead asked the Madras High
Court for a CBI inquiry in the concerned issue.

8. In response to Sundaram, Vaikundarajan quoted, “The
report clearly states that VV Minerals India has operated
within legal boundaries. There is no more explanation
required.”
