Franklin Public Schools: Blended Learning at the Middle Schools

What? ...a formal education program in which a student learns: (1) through an online environment, with some element of control over time, place, path, and/or pace; (2) in a traditional classroom; (3) and through a combination of the two connected in a way that provides an integrated learning experience.

Opens access for all students The world in which we live Live, real-time feedback Two-way family/community communication and engagement Increased opportunity for collaboration (student-student, student-teacher, student-parent etc.) Opportunities for asynchronous projects - location is not an issue
  4. 4. How? Its Learning (embedded videos, flipped lessons,resources, assessments with instant feedback, blogs, etc) Google Drive
  5. 5. “It’s about how our students are learning and how our parents learn about what we do!”
  6. 6. Our parents can learn about what we do through Aspen, Virtual Town, BBConnectEd, Newslettters, Blogs
