  8. 9. 1- The chronological resume. <ul><li>it is the traditional most common one. </li></ul><ul><li>describes your work experience as history. </li></ul><ul><li>structured around dates, employers, and titles. </li></ul><ul><li>beginning with your most recent job. </li></ul><ul><li>It formats experience to be easily compared with job requirements. </li></ul>

  15. 16. Organize your objective statement as follows: <ul><li>Description of your desired job. </li></ul><ul><li>The kind of organization for which you want to work. </li></ul><ul><li>The benefit you expect. </li></ul>
  16. 17. 3- Profile <ul><li>key skills, abilities, experience, and knowledge. </li></ul><ul><li>20- 30 words written in 3-5 bullets, descriptive phrases. </li></ul><ul><li>Use the same recruiters keywords to describe your qualifications. </li></ul>

How to write your experience: <ul><li>1- state your employer,s name, location & date of employment. </li></ul><ul><li>followed by the title of the position you held. </li></ul><ul><li>2- use action verbs to describe your principal tasks in this position. </li></ul><ul><li>For ex. completed, directed, developed conducted. </li></ul><ul><li>3- Focus on activities that support your objective. </li></ul>

  20. 21. 6- Education <ul><li>describe your educational credentials as follows: </li></ul><ul><li>The name of the degree(s) or certificate. </li></ul><ul><li>The specific field in which you majored. </li></ul><ul><li>The institution where you did your coursework . </li></ul><ul><li>The date your degree(s)/certificate(s) were awarded. </li></ul>

  25. 26. 4- The best resume identifies your previous responsibilities . <ul><li>Employers are less interested in responsibilities than in work accomplished. </li></ul><ul><li>5- Your resume should include references and personal information. </li></ul><ul><li>there’s no reason to state“References available on request” </li></ul>
