  1. 1.  There are two types of tides, high and low, and special tides called spring and neap tides!
  2. 2.  As the moon orbits around the earth and as they orbit around the sun together travel around the sun, the combined gravitational forces cause the world's oceans to rise and fall.  Tides also change everyday, as the earth, moon, and sun orbit, their positions constantly shift, making the gravity effects change, this makes tide times a bit different every day!
  3. 3.  Spring tide: When the Moon, Earth, and Sun fall in a straight line, which we call syzygy, we can see the greatest distance between high tide and low tide.
