  4. 4. Where do we start?<br />About 1/3 of people in their 20’s move every year, U-Haul needs to grab these people!<br />Lets create a facebook page<br />Get people tweeting about U-Haul<br />Design some creative Google ads<br />
  5. 5. Target Audience<br />Demographics<br />College students<br />Families<br />Ages ranging from 18 to 35<br />Any income<br />Online savvy<br />

How do we reach our target?<br />Let’s build a new website!<br />Create an interactive theme- consumers will stay on the site longer if there are multiple things to do, make renting a U-haul fun!<br />Clear the clutter- there is too much content on each page, make it simple- rentals will be more successful if the consumer can easily find what they are looking for<br />Our entire goal here is to create a page that consumers can feel comfortable using- We want them to leave Facebook and come to our site- In order to accomplish that gigantic task, the site has to make a splash, be fun, provide useful information and relate to the consumer<br />

How do we measure or success<br />Keep track of clicks per ad<br />Track the number of followers on social media sites<br />Track search rankings<br />Use free Google tools like Google alerts to see what search terms are most successful<br />Monitor the online chatter<br />Are consumers talking about U-haul use free sites like monitter.com technorati.com and Google blog search, see if people are tweeting about U-haul or talking about you on facebook or blogging U-haul’s praises <br />
