Examples of how scholars are using Omeka to publish their research, including field notes, class projects, large digital archives, interpretative exhibits, and ways to rethink a dissertation. Omeka has plugins to import records from the Library of Congress and other institutions using OAI-PMH. And each Omeka website is Zotero-readable and provides Atom and RSS feeds that update when new content is added. Go to http://omeka.org/codex/Documentation to find out how to install and run Omeka on a server. Or, sign up for a hosted version at omeka.net.
