  • This presentation is about resilience which is a very important part of the equation.
  • You can ’t change the weather ….
  • … but you can change how you interact with it.
  • It ’s the same with your life, you can’t change your past, your upbringing, your family, your experience and so forth …
  • … but you can certainly change how you look at it and even feel about it.
  • Our experiences of the ups and downs that life brings helps us to develop resilience. Each time we experience adversity, we learn new or better strategies for coping with it. Sometimes the more adversity one experiences – the greater the resilience they have to bounce back from it.

  • There is a lot of truth in the statement “you are what you eat”. The sorts of foods we eat not only affect us physically but also mentally and emotionally. <include notes re: sugar levels and mood swings> So treat your brain well by eating a balanced diet of GOOD MOOD FOOD.
