In completing the Partner Challenge for Specialties Qatar, our logical reasoning primarily relied on an
inductive approach. We began by assessing the existing limitations and goals: limited market
exploration, insufficient utilization of team qualifications, and unrealized market opportunities. We then
formulated a plan to unlock new markets by combining the company's best solutions within a small city,
centering around Villas complemented by retail shops and linked to tourist attractions like a water park
and flower garden. Exploiting the most talented students identified from a university workshop, chosen
by the company, we aimed to integrate them with the existing marketing team to promote the project.
Our approach was mainly inductive due to the methodical reasoning process we employed. We gathered
specific observations and data about the existing constraints and potentials within the market and team
performance, then drew broader conclusions and formulated a strategy based on these observations. This
approach allowed us to start with particular issues and then generalize towards broader solutions, which
aligned with the inductive reasoning process.potential biases such as 'confirmation bias' might have
affected our decision-making. To mitigate these biases, we ensured the selection process for the students
was transparent and based on evident talent from the workshop, avoiding biases related to partiality or
predetermined beliefs. We encouraged an open exchange of ideas within the team, valuing diverse
opinions and perspectives, thereby preventing groupthink and promoting critical evaluation of our
strategies.
