  1. 1. Microsoft Surface 2 vs iPad 4 Microsoft Corporation launches the new Surface 2 tablet yesterday. The company will be hoping that this year’s model can do better than the original Microsoft Surface RT. A lot of that success will depend on how the computer stands up to the Apple Inc. Price: I think we are in need of maybe not be amazed that the Nexus 10 is cheaper compared to iPad. On the other-hand iPad 4 starts its price at $499 for a WI-FI only model with 16GB memory. Add still another hundred dollars to improve it 32GB and add $100 more because of its 64GB model. Plainly the Google Nexus 10 has the edge on this area of the comparison. Dimensions: Little to choose here, as both pills are fairly similar within the vital stats team, with very minor variations. Design: The iPad’s style is unibody alloy and appears bright and high priced. The Nexus 10 to the other hand, appears similar to an anything you wouldn’t mind handing to children to enjoy Angry Birds or Ninja Fishing.
  2. 2. If you speak about the build quality I'd say that the Nexus is slightly sturdier than the iPad, because of the stuff used in the make. Screen and display: You've massive displays on both the unit, with the Nexus 10 a step bigger at 10.1 inches towards the iPad’s 9.7. But, you have to take into account that the iPad has better viewing angles and better comparison at the same time. Model and memory: We all know that the iPad works on the Apple A6X 1.4 GHz double core chip and has quad core graphics. The Nexus also offers a better memory potential at 2 GB, towards the iPad’s 1 GB. Storage: Apple typically provides the iPad in 16, 32 and 64 GB capacities with no micro-sd card slot and hence no further expansion. Camera: Both pills appear to be even-stevens inside the photography section having a 12-megapixel back camera, and a camera for video communicating. The Nexus 10’s top camera is somewhat better, at 1.9 MP. The iPad’s top shooting is 1.2 MPs simply.
  3. 3. Connectivity: Connectivity on the Nexus 10 includes: NFC capability, Bluetooth, GPS, and 802.11b/g/n dual-band Wi-Fi. You'll also find slots for micro-usb, Micro-HDMI, a 3.5mm headset and a magnetic 'Pogo' green charger. In the 4 you have a similar Wi-Fi capacity and Bluetooth 4.0. Other locations would be the headphone jack and forApple's Lightning Connector. Software: We are all aware that all Apple devices run on Apple’s iOS os. Battery: Here I have to mention that the iPad 4 will probably gain this particular battle. If you’re linked to Wi-Fi and you’re searching the Net, you can be sure that the iPad can select 10 hours before it takes a recharge. It's a 42.5 Wh rated battery but Google’s Nexus 10 battery is rated 33.3. Bing hasn't yet chosen the battery life but market gurus feel it will not match-up for the iPad’s.
