  3. 3. "O you who have believed, fear Allah as He should be feared and do not die except as Muslims [in submission to Him]." [QUR’AN 3:102] WISD M | ISLAMIC MISSION
  4. 4. Who all needs to care my family?? Father? Husband? Mother ? I ? You? Brother? Son ? Relatives? Children? WISD M | ISLAMIC MISSION
  6. 6. All of you are guardians !! , and each of you is responsible for those under their guard. Allaah will ask each guardian regarding those under their guard and if they preserved or lost it. [Al-Bukhaari (2554) and Muslim (1829)] [Ibn Hibbaan in his Saheeh (4570) ] WISD M | ISLAMIC MISSION

  8. 8. O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones, over which are [appointed] angels, harsh and severe; they do not disobey Allah in what He commands them but do what they are commanded. [QUR’AAN 66:6] WISD M | ISLAMIC MISSION
  9. 9. All of you are guardians, and all of you are responsible and are held accountable WISD M | ISLAMIC MISSION
  10. 10. A leader Act based on Qur’an and Sunnah is responsible for things under his guard WISD M | ISLAMIC MISSION

  15. 15. Keenness on teaching them the Book of Allah the Exalted and the matters pertaining to their religion 1 WISD M | ISLAMIC MISSION

  17. 17. Enjoining them to perform obligations and supervising them e.g:- Salah WISD M | ISLAMIC MISSION
  18. 18. Obligations we must be watchful over regarding our families e.g:- Zakaah WISD M | ISLAMIC MISSION
  19. 19. Keenness on worship-based upbringing in family life 2 e.g:- voluntary prayers WISD M | ISLAMIC MISSION
  20. 20. Teaching the family to have praiseworthy manners, shyness, and modesty 3 WISD M | ISLAMIC MISSION
  21. 21. “Advise yourselves and your families to fear Allah, and teach your family manners.” Al-Bukhaari WISD M | ISLAMIC MISSION
  22. 22. Warning the family of the dangers of the people of misguidance 4 WISD M | ISLAMIC MISSION
  23. 23. Certain criminals try to incite them to remove their covering and take them out of their homes in order to enjoy themselves with her, and they call it "freedom" of women. Undermining the Islaamic family and its size, and lessening the size of the Islaamic Ummah, and they call it the plan of birth control.
  24. 24. Safeguarding the home from blameworthy matters 5 WISD M | ISLAMIC MISSION
  25. 25. A child might watch something reprehensible in the home, which would embed itself in their mind slowly and their heart would become inclined to sinful actions. WISD M | ISLAMIC MISSION

  27. 27. Watching over women who work 6 Women working is one of the great doors to spreading evil that were it not a matter of necessity or the premise of pious women, it would result in great corruption WISD M | ISLAMIC MISSION
  28. 28. Keenness on educating and disciplining the child from a young age 7 WISD M | ISLAMIC MISSION
  29. 29. Da`wah (calling) within the family WISD M | ISLAMIC MISSION
  30. 30. Being a goodrole model “The best among you are the best among you to their families.” At-Tirmithi (3895) WISD M | ISLAMIC MISSION
  31. 31. Rewardand punishment WISD M | ISLAMIC MISSION
  32. 32. Encouraging them to sign up with centers for memorization of the Qur’aan WISD M | ISLAMIC MISSION
  33. 33. Establishing educational programs within the family Educating children by way of stories WISD M | ISLAMIC MISSION
  34. 34. Rights and manners on the head of the household WISD M | ISLAMIC MISSION
  35. 35. The Prophet(‫)ﷺ‬ when informed that Abdullaah ibn Umar (ra) fasted every day and prayed all night, said: “I was told that you pray by night and fast during the day.” He said: “I do so.” He (‫)ﷺ‬ said: “If you do so, your eyes will weaken and your soul will become tired. Your soul has a right on you, as does your family.” Al-Bukhaari (1153) WISD M | ISLAMIC MISSION
  36. 36. Giving the family their rights is one of the biggest means of saving them from the Fire 1. Spending on them “If a man spends on his family while expecting the reward, he earns reward of charity.” Al-Bukhaari (55) 2. Treating them with correct Islamic etiquette WISD M | ISLAMIC MISSION
  37. 37. 3. Kindness and joking `Aa’ishah (ra) said: “I used to drink while I was menstruating, then would give it to the Prophet (‫)ﷺ‬ and he would place his mouth wherever I placed mine and would drink. I would also eat meat while I was menstruating, then would give it to the Prophet (‫)ﷺ‬ and he would place his mouth wherever I placed mine.” Muslim (300) WISD M | ISLAMIC MISSION
  38. 38. `Aa’ishah (ra) was with the Prophet (‫)ﷺ‬ in a travel. She said: “I raced him, and beat him by foot. Then, when I gained some weight, I raced him, but he beat me. He said: ‘This is payback for that previous victory you had.’ Abu Daawood (2578) WISD M | ISLAMIC MISSION
  39. 39. A woman might become angry with her husband, but if he jokes with her and makes her laugh, the problem would be over, and harmony remains within the family. We should not forget, also, that young girls and children need this kindness and joking behavior. WISD M | ISLAMIC MISSION
  40. 40. 4. Nightly chats `Aa’ishah (ra) reported that the Prophet (‫)ﷺ‬ used to have nightly chats with her. Prophet (‫)ﷺ‬ used to speak with his family for an hour before sleeping. Al-Bukhaari (4913) Tafseer Ibn Katheer (1/617) WISD M | ISLAMIC MISSION
  41. 41. 5. Keeping away from constant absence except for a need “Travel is a part of punishment. One of you would be deprived of his food, drink, and sleep. If one of you completes their needs, let them hasten to their family.” WISD M | ISLAMIC MISSION
  42. 42. Disasters resulting from the father's absence WISD M | ISLAMIC MISSION
  43. 43. Society is suffering from the ill-effects of due to a father's absence. What are we trying to achieve? Are we trying to reach the level that the disbelievers have reached? WISD M | ISLAMIC MISSION
  44. 44. 6. Caring and taking their weakness into weak Allah the Exalted created women weak, and likewise, men begin weak in their infancy and childhood years, and end up weak at the end of their lives. They days are also filled with times of weakness due to sickness. The head of the household that has a sound intellect takes this weakness in his family into account. So, he is compassionate with the weak and cares for them, while not burdening them with things they cannot handle. WISD M | ISLAMIC MISSION
  45. 45. 7. Serving and participating in the housework Al-Aswad asked `Aa’ishah (ra) :“What did the Prophet (‫)ﷺ‬ used to do in his home?” She (ra) said: “He would serve his family, and when prayer time came, he would go out to pray.” In another narration: “He used to sew his clothes and mend his shoes; he would do what men do in their homes.” Al-Musnad (24947) WISD M | ISLAMIC MISSION
  46. 46. Helping one’s family has many benefits, such as • Relieving the woman in helping her with some household chores. • Making the wife feel that the husband is a good husband in that he cares for and about her. • The man gains humility and turns away from pride and glorifying his own self WISD M | ISLAMIC MISSION
  47. 47. Keeping away from leisure and luxury, so that the person does not being among those who have condemned luxury when Allah the Exalted Said (what means): "And leave Me with [the matter of] the deniers, those of ease [in life], and allow them respite a little." [QUR’AAN 73:11] WISD M | ISLAMIC MISSION
  48. 48. 8. Showing compassion and affection to them 9. Not placing them in hardships and strenuous situations 10. Avoiding harming them 11. Protecting their secrets 12. Consulting them and seeking their opinions WISD M | ISLAMIC MISSION
  49. 49. "Men are in charge of women by [right of] what Allah has given one over the other and what they spend [for maintenance] from their wealth." [QUR’AN 4:34] WISD M | ISLAMIC MISSION
  50. 50. Brothers in Islam: Do we have aspirations to call your family to Allah? Is there a level that we wish to reach in terms of our men and woman? WISD M | ISLAMIC MISSION
