10. What is your favourite Horror film and
•
why?
Orphan.. the twist at the end is immense
• The Shining - Brilliant acting and suspense.
• dawn of the dead because I like zombie movies
• The Exorcist always gives me a good fright at Halloween, but I do enjoy the Resident Evil series because there's a good balance of action and gore and I tend to prefer zombie
movies.
• Stigmata
• Silence of the Lambs - great film from beginning to end, fantastic acting and true suspense.
• Paranormal activity - it was the only horror film I've seen that properly made me want to poo myself. Super scary stuff.
• Strangers or the blair witch project both scared the shit out of me when I watched them for the first time!
• M. Night Shyamalan
• Jeepers Creepers cause it scares the b-geebers out of me :) x
• 28 days later - the suspense created is brilliant and the effects on the zombies are very realistic and scary
• 6th sense - makes me jump every time
• The Strangers - it's quite realistic like it could actually happen
• Friday the 13th as Jason the killer is a good horror villain
• Silence of the lambs - I like the psychological element to the film, it's not just they typical 'blood and guts' horror film
• Paranormal activity 3 as it was incredibly "jumpy" and I found that the amateurishness of the film added to the psychological effect.
• Gothika. Because it wasn't too gory, it had a good and unpredictable story line and the acting was good.
• Switchblade romance. Keeps you interested and it doesn't give the twist away until near the end.
• the thing from outer space it's the original of it's type
• Paranormal activity
• Halloween, as it has many conventions of the horror genre and an identifiable figure within Michael Myers.
• Shaun of the dead. because it was funny.
• Paranormal activity 2 & 3...scary and makes you jump a lot!
• blade because of the vampires
• Don't tend to watch many, Usually shit myself Human centipede is good though
• SAW because its good
• Freddy vs. Jason - Friday the 13th. Always enjoyed the storyline of both Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees; being combined it made it even better. The whole mystery behind
it and reasoning was fascinating. Each character having their own abilities and finding out how they would face off. Great film!
• IT, because its a classic horror and has a good ending.
• 28 Weeks Later, Cause Its Scary And Kinda Funny, I Guess. I Also LOVE Dead Set (Even Though Its A Series)
• The Grudge, it is on of the only films I found scary and kept me on edge, I liked the thrill of the film and the story was great :D
• Paranormal Activity 3. Haven't seen many horror films at all but found it scary.
