Every year, the Global Shapers Hub of San Francisco tackle one or more projects to make a positive impact on San Francisco. On October 2, 2016, the Hub hosted Project Pitch Day to pitch the projects that are currently underway to our community as a call to action to contribute time, resources, and ideas to the projects. This year, we are working on a recurring joint food fair with the Tenderloin Hunger Task Force and Heart of the City Farmers Market to educate and register people in need with the CalFresh program, to teach basic nutrition and cooking classes, and to operate a free soup kitchen.
