Mary Had A Little Lamb

  1. 1. Mary had a Little Lamb By Sarah Josepha Hale America 1788-1879 Pictures from Flickr , PCS Symbols Adapted by Sam
  2. 2. Mary had a little lamb, Its fleece was white as snow;
  3. 3. And everywhere that Mary went, The lamb was sure to go.
  4. 4. He followed her to school one day, That was against the rule; It made the children laugh and play, To see a lamb at school.
  5. 5. And so the teacher turned him out, And still he lingered near, And waited patiently about, Till Mary did appear:
  6. 6. And then he ran to her, and laid His head upon her arm, As if he said, “I’m not afraid; You’ll save me from all harm.”
  7. 7. “ What makes the lamb love Mary so? The eager children cry. “Oh! Mary loves the lamb, you know,” The teacher did reply.
