Key learnings
• The speed of the vehicle is an important safety
factor: other drivers want to bypass the
autonomous vehicle, if it’s too slow.
• Customer service and communications were
gaining importance, as we had a lot more
passengers than before. This was probably due
eased Covid restrictions.
• Local support is really important when running
the pilots on a daily basis.
• Driving on a tram track is a thing to be considered
in the future. Tracks can be slippery and trams
behind don’t stop fast if a sudden emeregency
stop for an autonomous vehicle occurs.
