2. Happy New Year!
2022 was an incredible year for Terri Pines! We saw growth in membership,
food & beverage, & merchandise sales. This past year we focused on adding
more social events (wine & food pairings, bourbon & cigar tastings, date
nights with childcare), & we received great response from you!
With your continued support we look forward to bringing you even more
social events in 2023, starting with our first Dueling Pianos Night at Terri
Pines on January 27th! Stay tuned for more member social events this year. If
you have any suggestions on what type of events you would love to see
happen at Terri Pines, please let us know!

A Note from the GM
Happy New Year! We want to thank each member for your loyalty
and support throughout 2022. The past year we have seen steady
growth in club memberships, golf rounds, and dining experiences.
With the additions of Rob Harper (Executive Chef), Amanda Brown
(Sous Chef), and Mitchell Buckelew (Bar Manager), we are thrilled
with the direction our Food & Beverage department is heading.
While the weather dealt some challenges with golf course conditions
in 2022, our team has eagerly pursued solutions to help our turf
areas come back stronger in 2023, and many of those solutions are
already in action. We are currently planning for the upcoming
seasons, and we will soon release a schedule of our major events for
2023. As always, please let us know if there is anything we can do to
improve your membership experience. We can’t wait to see you at
the club!

From the Superintendent
The golf course is going into winter season in good condition. Our pre-emergent
program seems to have worked well & we don't have very many breakthrough weed
problems. As a note, February 20-March 20+/- is spring pre-emergent time for your
home lawns. Watch for Forsythia to bloom & this is (rule of thumb) time that
crabgrass germinates & an indicator as to timing for pre-emergent application.
We continue to address rough areas on cart paths with the grinder. Additionally, we
are working to alleviate shade areas that are weakening areas of turf throughout
the golf course. We will work on lowering some more of the collars around our
greens in an effort to reduce problems with surface water staying on putting
surfaces.

My name is Mitchell Buckelew and I am the new Bar & Front of House Manager at
Terri Pines. I started my career as a bartender at Flora-Bama in Pensacola, Florida.
With the location of that job, I had the opportunity to work with award winning
chefs and bartenders from all over the world. In 2019 I won the Double Dealer New
Orleans Bartender of the Year. Soon after in 2020, I won the title of Bartender
Magazine Best Bartender of the South. Bartending is a huge passion of mine and I
am so excited to work with the awesome staff at Terri Pines!.
Introduction
I hope everyone had a great holiday! I am looking forward to spring
& hope you are looking forward to all the new things happening with
Terri Pines food service.
Please help me in welcoming our new Bar & Front of House
Manager, Mitchell Buckelew, to Terri Pines! I am excited to have
Mitchell join our Terri Pines family & add to our quality of service &
quality of member experiences.
I will be finalizing menus for the Grille & the Lounge. I have had
some great discussions with members relating to our menus. I will be
trying to keep some of the old "standard" items as well as creating
what I hope will be the new standards. You should be able to see the
new menus in place by the end of January or first of February.
Please join us for our Dueling Piano Night upstairs January 27th, we
will have a buffet of hors d'oeuvres!
I truly appreciate all of the support from everyone, & I look forward
to making 2023 a great year at Terri Pines!
