The students visited the Woolworths store in Wollongong as part of a discovery tour. They learned about the different areas of the store including the deli, bakery, online order packing area, and cool rooms. Some key facts included that the store cooks 100 chickens per day (39,800 per year) and makes $120,000 per week in online orders. The tour concluded with the students participating in a fruit and vegetable scavenger hunt and learning more about produce storage before thanking their guides.
