  2. 2. Questions to consider<br />Does the image you believe you’re projecting match others’ perceptions?<br />Are you really in control of your online image?<br />Who has access to your online image?<br />
  3. 3. DON’T post<br />Photos or comments that make it look like you are doing any of the following: <br /><ul><li> Abusing drugs or alcohol
  4. 4. Doing anything illegal
  5. 5. Disrespecting others
  6. 6. Otherwise acting like an irresponsible undergrad</li></ul>College of Law<br />
  7. 7. Out of context<br />What you say and do online can easily be viewed out of the context you intended.<br />Presume that anything you put up will exist somewhere online, forever.<br /><ul><li>Google cached pages

  9. 9. ASK YOURSELF every time<br /><ul><li> Would I want my grandma to see this?
  10. 10. Will people understand what I’m trying to say?

  12. 12. Keep in mind….<br /> You are entering a profession with high ethical standards. Your online image and social networking usage should conform to those expectations.<br />

  14. 14. Untag yourself.
  15. 15. Unfriend people you don’t know or don’t trust.
