CHICKTECH © CFA Properties, Inc. 16 ChickTech seeks to retain women in the technology workforce and increasing the number of women and girls pursuing technology-based careers Flagship program: ChickTech: High School A year-long series of opportunities young women, providing hands-on workshops, mentoring, and internship opportunities. They are looking to expand the High School program to include summer internships and need mentors.

BLACKGIRLS CODE © CFA Properties, Inc. 17 Black Girls Code seeks to increase the number of women of color in STEM by empowering girls 7 to 17 to become innovators They offer workshops on programming, virtual reality, website design & development, etc. at local colleges. They need event volunteers and instructors. They train instructors!
  18. 18. NASA GIRLS © CFA Properties, Inc. 18 — Virtual mentoring program during the summer for middle school girls with a NASA scientist Applications opening soon for 2017 Grades 5-8 or equivalent home schooling 2017 application opening soon! They also have an equivalent program for boys!

Summer University Girls work with professionals from local businesses like The Coca-Cola Company and The Home Depot, gaining knowledge and experience from professionals They make giving donations very easy: $60 - Provides a healthy snack to a girl each day throughout after school. $150 - Provides transportation for a girl to after school for one year. $350 - Provides one girl technology and supplies necessary for Girls Inc. identity programs. $500 - Provides a classroom of girls with a field trip where they can experience hands-on learning. $800 - Provides Economic Literacy programming for one month to a school, inspiring many girls to work towards financial independence.
