  5. 5. But one specific example… 5 / 10 wanted to know more about businesses in London commissioned the 2014 London Business Survey  used survey results to analyse trade by London businesses 
  6. 6. Demand for: Regional Exports Demand to create “Value of Service Exports by Region” HMRC generate Value of Goods Exports, but nothing existed for Value of Service Exports 6 / 10.. Cross-team cross-departmental group including: • ONS Trade Statistics • ONS Regional Accounts • HMRC • HMT • Scottish Government • NISRA

Creating: Regional Exports 7 / 10 Took definitions and UK figures from The Pink Book Combined results from: • ONS International Trade In Services (ITIS) • ONS Annual Business Survey (ABS) • Inter-Departmental Business Register (IDBR) Broke down regionally using: • Business Register & Employment Survey (BRES) • Bank of England • Annual Business Inquiry (ABI) Northern Ireland • ONS International Passenger Survey (IPS)
