  1. 1. Look at the introductory materials on Cyberbullying and Twitter Trolls (Day 1 > Task 1 folder) You will find some interesting articles and videos, that will help you have a better understanding of this important topic!
  2. 2. You will be allocated one case study or provocative talk (your facilitator will post this on your Group Blog). You must read or watch it (they’re all on MOLE on Day 1 > Task 2) and then write a post on your group’s blog. The blog post must answer the following questions: 1. Does the item focus on an example? If so, who was involved and what happened? (If applicable, in what context did the cyberbullying take place) 2. What issues does the study or talk raise? 3. What further questions relating to cyberbullying does this prompt in your own mind?
  3. 3. We would like to help you build up your research skills for Day 2 with the following two resources: 1. “Generating a research question” video 2. “Effective Internet Searching” tutorial We’ve also added a few more links if you’re keen on this! (All can be found in Day 1 > Task 3, on MOLE)
  4. 4. Engage with your team members in real-time! - Why not discuss what you’ve learnt today over a cup of tea? (Daily group discussions will take place in your ‘Adobe Connect’ meeting room) a) Use your reading and questions to decide on a focus for your group’s research and agree one or more research questions. These should relate to the wider topic of why cyber bullying takes place and what can be done to tackle it*. b) Plan how individual group members will research into this on Day 2 to produce an annotated bibliography. This could include investigating research insights from different disciplines. * You will find more information and examples of research questions on MOLE.
