Transitional Aged Youth - Ask the Expert

Published on

Join us for an Ask the Expert session on the topic of Transitional Age Youth (TAY) and the Foster Care System on November 8, 2017 at 10am PST. This session is designed for participants to ask expert Michele Bartlett questions to help you understand the risk factors of transitional age foster youth and how to improve your practices in working with this underserved population. Transition Age Youth (TAY) are young people between the ages of 16-24 years who are in transition from state custody or foster care and are considered “at-risk”. Once they turn 18 they no longer receive assistance from the systems of care that previously provided for many of their needs.
