Matter-wave interferometry, although a rather old subject, is nowadays at the leading edge of many new developments in geophysics and fundamental physics thank to laser cooling Commercial development of transportable sensors Development of space interferometer and space missions Recent proposals of gravitational wave detectors using atom sensors. The following lectures will aim to : Introduce the basics of atom inertial sensors. Introduce the recent developments in atom interferometry and inertial sensor. Give a general overview of the methods and the tools to be used with atom inertial sensors. Present some recent experimental achievements and recent project developments.
