Students at the Happy Palace School in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, worked with their peers at Oceanside High School in the US, to raise awareness of the problem of child labor in their community - and advocate for families to send their children to school. Happy Palace students created a local awareness campaign, met with families, lobbied schools to provide scholarships for low-income families, and started free classes.

  16. 16. Challenges • What were some challenges you faced? When we went to visit poor communities area the people there don’t want to talk about children’s education. • How did you address these challenges? We went there and talked to them and told them that we wanted to solve their problems. We told them that if their children get education they will get good jobs and they’ll earn good , which’ll make their lives better.
  17. 17. Final Project
  18. 18. Final Reflections • How do you hope to continue this work in the future? We must say that it is an awsome project if it is continued properly with proper follow up…We decided to start proper classes related to this cause….we have already started free tution classes and computer course for these kids and planning to start technical training for boys and girls both so that in future they might be enable to earn there living honourably. • What went well? In this project ,we tried our best to Spread awareness about the bad parts Of child labour in areas where people are working on low income sources and force there children to work to earn there living….. At the end we must say thay our students did there best to spread awareness in the areas where people needed it the best. They spend much time for this cause, they started free tution classes and did everything possible to enable these poor people educate their kids without facing any burden….
