Finding journal articles using EBSCOhost

1. Find journal articles using
EBSCOhost

2. You can locate EBSCOhost from the Health Sciences Library
homepage: http://www.medical.lib.uct.ac.za/
Then databases by
platform
Click on
Databases

3. Select the databases you want
to search then click on continue.

4. Enter your search terms on the basic
search screen. Click on
search
Search options field
allows you to apply
limiters and
expanders.

5. Refine your search results by
using the options on the left.
Your results will update
automatically as you change
your settings.
Access the full text
article by clicking on
the PDF icon.
If no PDF icon click on
check SFX for full text
availability

6. Click on the plus sign
to add items to the
folder.
Click on folder to view
items in the folder.

7. Use these
icons on the
right to print,
email or save
