Chinese Aerospace Institute (CASC) for 100K Euro 2000 MOU signed between Eonic System and Shanghai Bell in presence of Prins Filip (BE) 2002 Being the only employee of Eonic Systems to join HQ of Wind River after acquisition 2003 My vision of the future of multi-core became a reality 5 years later (today’s IoT). Co-founded polycore software to address the software needs. 2006 Setting-up my own team in Shanghai to help high-tech SME companies enter China. 2010 Closing my first VC deal (Saffelberg investments) 2 more VC rounds followed for Letsface in China
  6. 6. 2010-2015 I created Letsface in the heart of Shanghai as a fast- paced Silicon Valley style software start-up. My vision was to build the first offline-to-online brand communities. It quickly became the first digital solutions for brand activation events with its core on-site guest engagement products and data management platform. Letsface activations throughout Asia & Europe. 3 offices in China. 35 employees. 50+ premium brands. 3 VCs. 20 products/APPs. 500+ events.
  7. 7. 2016: www.sinnolabs.com. • SinnoLabs is a growth accelerator which can quickly validate the “chances” of EU innovative SMEs to succeed in China, shorten their investment and learning curve, and help raise money. • Based on the vision to help Belgium SMEs entering China, I created the growth accelerator’s mentoring program, business model and helped raise the funding prior to its launch deadline. • My position as Director Europe is to promote Sinnolabs and China based Innovation in Europe, source quality clients and help them prepare well for the accelerator program. He is very intelligent, organised, sincere, frank and with good vision. He is considerate for his employees. I am lucky to work with him. Bao Lingjing reported to Pascal at PaCoVision in 2007 Lourens Geldenhuys, Product Manager at Mine Site Technologies I will always remember 3 things about Pascal. Firstly is his visionary thinking. He has an extraordinary ability to view the world from an unconventional point of view, and envisage scenarios and solutions to problems that appear unusual at first. He is intensely analytical, and manages to drill down to the root of an issue, and at the end of the day his visions make perfect sense. Secondly is his tenacity and determination in getting the results he wants. He does not get intimidated by obstacles or setbacks, and instead finds new opportunities in every challenge. Lastly is his integrity and honesty. He has sympathy and understanding for his employees, and cares for them with an open mind. Pascal is a true entrepreneur and a trustworthy leader. Jan managed Pascal at Wind River Systems in 2002 Sayeed Choudhury, Sr Director Of Product Management, Snapdragon Software Platforms at Qualcomm Pascal did an outstanding job in creating new business opportunities, spanning growing business with existing customers to seeding education programs at prominent universities. Self driven, he consistently demonstrated initiative and drive, while remaining consistent with the group's quarterly and yearly goals and objectives. Results matter, and Pascal delivered. Sayeed managed Pascal at Wind River Systems in 2003 Warren Kurisu, Director Of Product Management, Mentor Graphics Pascal's clarity of vision, complete understanding of the business, market and products, excellence in execution, and relentless attention to customers and partners drove his success at Wind River. It was an honor and a pleasure to work with Pascal. Warren managed Pascal at Wind River Systems in 2003 And what about my bosses?

Philippe Snel, Managing Partner De Wolf Axten Shanghai Law Office Pascal has been in China for close to 15 years, during which time he was involved with several Belgian technology companies, helping them to set foot in China. But he’s also an entrepreneur who founded and managed several start-up businesses in technology and innovation fields, the last one being Letsface. If anyone knows how difficult it sometimes can be to make an SME business work in China, it’s certainly Pascal. At the same time he also knows about the opportunities that await in China for smart innovation companies from Europe, especially from Belgium. In addition, and this is also a plus for our project, Pascal spend a number of years in Sillicon Valley where he tried his luck with his own start-up company. Most importantly, he is a respected and appreciated business person in the Belgian community in Shanghai and beyond, well connected and speaks fluent Chinese. Philippe is Chairman of Sinnolabs
