Whether it be admitting a mistakeor describinga learning experience, being real draws your reader in and makes them feelconnectedto you.
  6. 6. "YOU DOYOU." WE WANT TO WORK WITH AND BUY FROM ORGANIZATIONS THAT ARE TRUTHFUL, GENUINE AND DEPENDABLE. IT BOILS DOWN TO AUTHENTICITY.
  7. 7. TELL THETRUTH. BEVULNERABLE. SHAREHONEST ANECDOTES, LESSONS ORTHE UNEXPECTED. DAD
  8. 8. HONE YOURTONE. It's hard to be authentic if you aren't listening. Shhhhh. For a Minute. You can listen, be authentic and be aligned with your brand.
  9. 9. MAKE CONNECTIONS With your brand. With relevant topics (that may not seem relevant at first blush). And with other "authors" who may not know they are authors yet.
  10. 10. STRUCTURE YOUR PROCESS. NOT A FORMULA, YOUR FORMULA And within your own formula, remember to incorporate: Short paragraphs. Engaging and surprising visuals Write that engaging "hook" of a headline AFTER you are done writing the post.
