  1. 1. About Us We are a peer support group for people with a disability who are interested in learning about how to run a very small business.

Meet The Team Anna Holly Karl Ryan I love animals, so my small business makes dog treats and I sell them at the local markets I’m a photographer and my business is about taking professional portraits of people I’ve got a green thumb, so my business is about growing succulent plants and selling them at the markets I like being creative and am learning how to make tie-dye t-shirts to sell at the markets.
  3. 3. What We Do We provide group members… Welcoming and friendly place to come together. Members can talk about ideas and ask questions. Lots of support to help start and run a business. Running a small business helps members earn income and be more independent. Learn important new skills and experiences. Members learn about planning, budgeting, record keeping and more.
  4. 4. Why We Do It Starting a very small business provides a solution. We are a group of people who want to help ourselves We want to create change and make a difference We want real jobs and real employment to give us dignity and control Employment rates are low for people with a disability…

  6. 6. Our Achievements So Far Anna wanted to start the group because she was alone in her business and was looking for support, look how far we have come…. Group Founded and initial grant 1 1st Business Launched Products for other businesses developed. 2 More Funding Secured for 2 years . 3 Group Develop Goals & Mission 4 Group Gain Community Support We've got people excited and got support from other local organisations 5 Group offered training opportunities . 6 Minding Our Business Formed 7
