issues.

3. Many people saw them as we only had three channels and one television in the
house.

4. Now, we have multiple channels and public information films are no longer
broadcast.

5. Think about today. In the home children have access to many media devices that can
connect to the internet.

6. Back in the 1970’s, we had issues around stranger danger.

7. If paedophiles wanted to approach children, they would go to places such as parks,
fairs etc. However, now they can go online and connect with children using false
profiles.

8. A few years ago, we would go online and type in a web address.

9. However, now many children go online and press on an App. Can you guess any of

Talk to our child – find out what they are doing
Make rules – no tech in their bedroom
Manage screen time – limit their time on tech
Digital family time – share time using tech together

Kid Friendly – Apps and devices aimed at children
