Local Charlotte business owner, Frank Kuperman with RevMax, heard a radio request for help from the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD). They were hustling to find enough bikes to fulfill the Christmas wish lists of over 1,700 kids. In 2017, we decided to take this program to the max!

  1. 1. It is the mission of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department Explorers Christmas Project to provide toys and food to less fortunate children and those who are experiencing unforeseen crisis situations within Mecklenburg County. It is only through referrals from Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools and first responders which allow police officers to personally deliver holiday cheer to the community we serve. Mission Statement CMPD Explorers Christmas Project is a registered 501(c)(3)
  2. 2. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department Explorers Christmas Project is not a self-referring program.
