CHALLENGES & LESSONS Challenges • Balancing Build/Measure/Learn phases • Familiarizing with the product, understanding product history, understanding feature history, understanding release history • Exploring machine learning methods to classify 2D vector images • Collaboration & Communication Lessons • Multidisciplinary collaboration is the most necessary ingredient for lean design and development processes • Differing perspectives and disagreement are fodder for innovation • Human-centered design is important to creating meaningful products • To be successful in such a short amount of time requires each team member to go beyond their disciplines to support a rigorous development schedule
