  2. 2. What is the ?<br />Student organization on campus<br />Engages students in pro-bono non-profit consulting<br />Subjects include marketing, fundraising and capital allocation, information technology, organization strategy, and operational management<br />
  3. 3. Executive Board<br />President: Representative of SCNO, the inlet for non-profits and networks to learn about what SCNO offers<br />Vice President of Operations: Oversees project managers and runs all operations in SCNO<br />
  4. 4. Director of Community Development: Markets SCNO to non-profit organizations and other contacts outside the University of Houston<br />Director of Human Resources: Oversees disciplinary actions, recruiting and maintaining applicants information, and compiles statistic data<br />
  5. 5. Director of Financial Support: Handles donations, archiving records, monthly financial reports presented to the executive board.<br />Director of Administration: records minutes at meetings, handles all newsletters (email & snail mail). Obtains rooms for meetings, stationary or supplies for the SCNO, keep all record of changes to constitution updated<br />
  6. 6. How are officers elected?<br />Officers will not be elected! They will be appointed by the current “eboard”<br />Terms of 2 years at most are allowed, giving other students the opportunity to experience the eboard<br />
  7. 7. Project Managers?<br />Project managers will oversee anywhere from 1-2 teams making sure that student needs and issues are handled<br />Teams of 4-8 students will focus on a single project<br /> Depth of projects will determine how many can be taken on during a semester<br />
  8. 8. Officer Requirements?<br />At least a junior classification at the University of Houston. <br />1 semester minimum of active membership status (participate as a team member or project manager with paid dues) having completed one cycle (project) successfully. <br />
