SchoolRooms Content <ul><li>70+ virtual rooms of content. </li></ul><ul><li>Content organized by audience: Elementary, Middle and High School Rooms, as well as Educator, Librarian and Parent Guides. </li></ul><ul><li>Approximately 23,000 links to high quality, educational web resources. </li></ul><ul><li>More than 5 million web pages being crawled by the Best of Web index. </li></ul><ul><li>Also includes videos, audio recordings, digital images, photographs, educational games, etc... </li></ul>

SchoolRooms Implementation <ul><li>A statewide implementation, much like DISCUS, for SC’s public libraries and schools. </li></ul><ul><li>The State Library is serving as the test library. </li></ul><ul><li>10 Pilot Sites will assist with best practices for the implementation. </li></ul><ul><li>DISCUS databases and library catalogs will be integrated, in addition to state specific content. </li></ul><ul><li>An online registration system is being developed to allow for immediate access to all of our electronic resources. </li></ul><ul><li>Official statewide launch scheduled for Fall 2008. </li></ul>
