Meeting Concierge Duties • Attend Pre-Convention Meetings to introduce the service managers and hotel directors • Directly assist with On-site contacts for meeting groups and hotel patrons (group or transient) • Check event space after set up and confirm set ups with on site contact • Daily walkthrough of the hotel grounds and event space • Package reviews and arrange for outbound shipments • Work with guest services staff in assuring positive guest service with all group guests
  13. 13. • Work with Banquet Staff and Event Captain's assisting throughout the event times • Upsell Hotel Restaurants – make reservations for small groups • Meet every client before their meeting begins. Special attention to small groups. • Obtain information from hotel concierge for clients • Stay in communication with Catering/CS Manager about client related issues Meeting Concierge Duties • Set up of the Waterfront Pavilion for a Wedding Reception, which also hosts our famous New England Clambakes
  14. 14. • The golden rule, HOSPITALITY DOESN’T SLEEP • Guest services and interactions is something I excel in and makes me extremely happy • Teamwork and a positive attitude is essential in the set up, during and breakdown of every event • The customer isn’t always right, never break the rules if it doesn’t help every guest involved • Communication is key, without it nothing works What I’ve Learned
