Compensation» Physical or psychological disabilities from sexual or other personal trauma while on active duty may be considered service-connected for VA compensation purposes» Evidence from sources other than the Veteran’s service records may be sufficient to corroborate the incident» While DD Form 2910, Victim Reporting Preference Statement, and DD Form 2911, DoD Sexual Assault Forensic Examination Report, are proof of the trauma, VA will look to other evidence and indications if the trauma has not been reported 28 Updated December 1, 2012

An Honorable discharge is required to be eligible for the Post-9/11 GI Bill.
