  2. 3. OBJECTIVES <ul><li>Motivate and get students, school community, families and local community aware of environmental choices </li></ul><ul><li>Sensitize and improve good practice by action plans. </li></ul>

Surveys <ul><li>Surveys, the starting point: a diagnosis of the situation at the three levels (school, families, local community) </li></ul><ul><li>Publicizing the surveys results as a way of sensitizing teachers, students, and parents about good and bad practices using energy, water, and recycling waste. </li></ul>
  4. 11. Action Plans <ul><li>Action Plans as improvement measures have been worth both for sensitizing school community about selective collecting waste and good use of water and energy. </li></ul><ul><li>Assessment proved by study made at Torres Villarroel school by Maths Department </li></ul>

  6. 27. Tips on good practice To the local authorities <ul><li>Transfering improvement proposals from students families to the local authorities have enlarged social sensitizing horizons about recycling. </li></ul>
  7. 32. Visits & Thematic trips <ul><li>Students visiting recycling centres, energy plants, exhibitions about water or energy, or climate changing </li></ul><ul><li>Getting to know “in situ” the importance of recycling energy. </li></ul>
  8. 40. Tips on good practice Meetings <ul><li>The importance of meetings to know the students works in every school,apart of the knowledge of different educational systems, improving of foreign languages communication, especially English, TICs, and coexistence </li></ul>
