  1. 1. Kline Felter Syndrome. ● Kline Felter Syndrome is a genetic disorder that gives an extra X so he the person with it will have sex chromosomes that are XXY in most cases. In some cases they have more than 2 X's.
  2. 2. Who it affects. ● Kline Felter Syndrome only affects males (XY). Females (XX) can not get it.
  3. 3. How it happens. ● Kline Felter Syndrome is caused by an error in the mother's and father's sex chromosomes during cell division.
  4. 4. The signs. ● A taller less muscular body than males there age. ● Broader hips and longer legs. ● Larger breast. ● Weaker bones. ● A lower energy level. ● Smaller penis and testicles ● ● Delay in puberty or go a parcel amount. Less facial and body hair following puberty.
  5. 5. The affects. ● Causes problems with learning and sexual development. It may give them infertility.
  6. 6. About having babies. ● Some men with Kline Felter Syndrome never go through puberty so they can't have babies. There are no cures but there are ways to prevent it. Hormone testing, chromosome analysis, testosterone replacement therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy.
