I use http://www.newsle.com to track when connections are in the news. Highlight a connection who wrote a great blog post. A way to give recognition and share at the same time on LinkedIn. Congratulation someone on a promotion or new Job. More visible than an Email Give a shout out to people you are speaking on a panel with. You can also add this to the projects section. Respond to someone who commented in a status update and keep the discussion going. Show appreciation to a company or person who provided you with great service.
