GAO vs. NARA<br />Government Accountability Office (GAO) is charging the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) with mismanagement of a planned electronic database of government documents<br />According to GAO the project is well off schedule and will cost about $1.4 billion <br />Sen. Thomas Carper and Sen. Susan Collins are going to reintroduce the Information Technology Investment Oversight Enhancement and Waste Prevention Act partly because of NARA’s alleged mismanagement<br />NARA says their management is fine, the project will be finished by September 2011 and will be under cost<br />
