2. BACKGROUND
Obesity is a condition where subcutaneous fat exceeds in
the amount of lean body mass.
BMI of 18.5-24.9 is normal,25 to 29.9 is overweight, and
BMI of 30 or above is obese.

Female of 33% or greater of body fat is obese
3. SYMPTOMS

determine exertion.
Time-40-60 minutes per day, or 20-30 minute session twice a
day
Type-low impact aerobic type exercises such as treadmill
walking, rowing, stationary cycling, and water activity.
5. BENEFICIAL EXERCISES
Exercise that does not put to much stress on the bodies
stress. Also it should be low intensity aerobic type exercise.
In other words weight supported exercises
Which include cycling or swimming.
Walking is widely preferred to obese clients and highly
recommended
6. CONTRAINDICATED
EXERCISES
Obese clients should not be doing anything that involves
high stress to joints, doing so will only cause injuries and
lawsuits.
Stay away from jogging, plyometric exercises like box jumps,
and anything that can be high impact on joints.
