Facebook<br />Facebook officially hit the half-billion member mark last year, there are now some 700m Facebook users worldwide.<br />The average Facebook user creates 90 pieces of content each month.<br />People that use Facebook on their mobile devices are twice as active on Facebook than non-mobile users.<br />The “Like” Button – Users who use the “Like” Button have 2x the number of friends in their network. Twitter<br />Since April, Twitter has gained 40 million users and a 62 percent increase in mobile use of the platform<br />1,000,000 people view customer service related tweets every week, with 80% of them being critical or negative in nature <br />Twitter now states that 95m tweets are written each day.
