Cut out soda 
Avoid fast food 
Go for a walk, take 
stairs, etc.
Benefits of Exercise 
• Reduces risk of heart disease 
• Maintains bone mass 
• Improves mood 
• Enhances self-esteem 
• Reduces stress
Simple Ways to be More Active 
• Turn off the television 
• Get off the computer 
• Do some chores around the 
house 
• Take the stairs instead 
• Walk more
Healthy Eating 
• Eat more fruits and 
vegetables 
• Switch to a lighter salad 
dressing 
• Eat low-fat or fat-free dairy 
• Drink lots of water 
• Limit yourself to junk 
food/sweets
Change Your Mind 
It’s all in your head! 
• You have the power 
• Change your mindset 
• Believe in yourself 
• Minimize negativity
