How we redesigned GlitterGallery

GlitterGallery started with a bang. We wanted something solid that
designers could use to showcase their work. While the focus went to the
git-ty side of things, the magic a modern user interface could bring in was
forgotten.
Soon, we realized, if we need to stick around, we need to feel better.
