  2. 2. Ideology<br />Ideology is a set of beliefs, ideas or values that will lead towards ones goals.<br />The Nazi party has a certain ideology that they used to gain power.<br /><br />
  3. 3. Individualism<br />Individualism is a ideology that puts the individual above the group.<br />Tanner Green is a individualist when playing champions as he will head straight for the items, instead of helping the group fight. He's not a warrior.<br /><br />
  4. 4. Collectivism<br />Collectivism is a ideology that puts the group above the individual. Sacrificing individual rights for the good of the group.<br />In Champions, Brandt and I look after the needs of the group and distribute the items as to get as far into the game as possible.<br /><br />
  5. 5. Liberalism<br />A political stance that favors social progress.<br />Steven Harper in not a Liberalist as he tries to follow conservative beliefs.<br /><br />
  6. 6. Self-interest<br />Self-interest is the focus on the desires and needs of ones own self.<br />I’m to busy to care about Dabria as I have my own self-interest to look after.<br /><br />
  7. 7. Competition<br />Competition is the contest between people, groups, things. It can lead to better things or lower prices.<br />Football is a contest between two teams to show supremacy. <br /><br />
  8. 8. Freedom<br />Freedom is to have your own choices.<br />In Canada I have the freedom of speech, and I clearly use it.<br /><br />
  9. 9. Rule of Law<br />Rule of Law is the rule that says no one is immune to the law, no matter there position.<br />A celebrity in court should have a blame hammer hit them based on the Rule of Law.<br /><br />
  10. 10. Private Property<br />Private Property is owned by a single person or company.<br />Clearly the picture on the left is posted on my private fort in my basement.<br /><br />
  11. 11. Collective responsibility <br />Collective responsibility that a group is responsible for it individuals actions.<br />An army has a collective responsibility for the actions its soldiers take.<br /><br />
  12. 12. Collective Interest <br />Collective Interest is an interest that an entire group has in common.<br />Police systems are a collective interest, as people want to feel safe.<br /><br />
  13. 13. Cooperation<br />Cooperation is when people or groups join together to complete a goal.<br />In football all the linemen must cooperate or it will not be as effective.<br /><br />
  14. 14. Economic Equality<br />Economic Equality is an economic idea in which all citizens will earn the same amount of money. <br />Women have worked to get economic equality and get pay as much as men.<br /><br />
  15. 15. Collective Norms<br />Collective norms is the behavior expected of a person of a group.<br />It is a collective norm to shake someone's hand when you meet.<br /><br />
  16. 16. Public Property<br />Public Property is property that the government owns or largely contributes too.<br />Sidewalks are public property looked after by a town or city.<br /><br />
  17. 17. Belief<br />Something someone considers true.<br />Many people believe in a god or a religion.<br /><br />
  18. 18. Value<br />An idea or object that a person holds in high importance.<br />Many people value diamonds because they a pretty. I however like the taste of them.<br /><br />
  19. 19. Individual Identity<br />Individual identity is how someone views themselves.<br />An individual's identity will effects how someone acts or dresses.<br /><br />
  20. 20. Collective Identity<br />Collective identity is how a whole group is viewed. <br />Canadians have a Collective identity in that most countries believe we are polite. Other countries accept Canadian foreigners <br /><br />
