About Sarah Allen is a technology leader who co-created After Effects, Shockwave and Flash video, and was named one of the top 25 Women of the Web in 1998. She went on to found Blazing Cloud, a ground-breaking mobile design and development company. In 2013, the White House named her a Presidential Innovation Fellow, where she worked on open data at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC. She now works with 18F, part of the United States Digital Service in San Francisco.
