4th Sunday of Lent: Laetare, Rejoice Sunday

Traditionally, this 4th Sunday of Lent is called in Latin “Laetare Sunday”, “Rejoice Sunday”. You notice that the liturgical color and ambiance of the church is “rose color”. Today, the Church softens the rigors of Lent to remind us that the joys of Easter are near at hand.
