  1. 1. Target Audience By Luke Wallis and Luke Smither
  2. 2. Demographics Demographics is the diversity that separatespeople due to many different categories. These are: age, gender, ethnicity, social class and location.
  3. 3. PsychographicsPsychographics is someones personality, values and attitude. These are divided into 7 groups, they are:-Mainstreamers- Seek security and brands they can trust.-Aspirers- Image is everything.-Succeeders- Like to be prestigious and to be under control.-Reformers- Want to give someone a different point of view.-Strugglers- No much money, struggling in life.-Resigned- Old people.-Explorers- Thrill seekers
  4. 4. ExpendablesThe Expendables is a movie that is appealing to young people (15-34), those 2 categories containabout 70% of the audience. Young people like this movie because of the themes, violence andthe actors which have been in similar movies. This movie is way more popular in males than infemales (there’s a 65% / 36%), because of the more masculine themes. The movie has beenviewed by people that in classes AB/ C1/ C2/ DE. People in the DE class have watched to moviemore is because the don’t work so the have more time to watch movies.
  5. 5. Edge of DarknessThis movie is younger people because the age range is 15-34. This is due the theage certificate and its themes. Its gender difference (62%/38%) will not be similar toours because our movie will be more of a 50/50 split because it’s a Crime/Dramawith no action. This movie is popular in the DE classes because the have moretime off than people who are in the classes above.
  6. 6. Our Movie OpeningOur movie opening would receive a 55/45% split in gender because its not a action movie, but aCrime/Drama, which would make it more appealing to females. People ages 15 and above would watchthis due to the age rating (15+). It’s themes would attract a older audience because it hasn’t got lots ofaction and swearing in it, so i think the would be a higher percentage of people who are aged 25 andover watching. I think the class range will be more even on this movie because it would interest abroader range of people, but there will be a little more in the DE class because they have more freetime. Age % Gender % Class % 4-6 0% Male 55% AB 20% 7-11 0% Female 45% C1 30% 12-14 0% C2 22% 15-24 35% DE 28% 25-34 45% 45+ 20%
